About ASE

ASE Assist Ltd helps individuals to become independent workers, get unstuck, build a business, work remotely, enter the Gig Economy, discover digital work platforms and freelance.

In particular they offer unique training in accessing work remotely using Remote Working workplaces. ASE’s programs enable hard-to-reach candidates (especially lone parents, 50+, long term unemployed, carers and ESA claimants) to take advantage of modern work opportunities.

They provide innovative programs that deal with the real-world of the modern job market using proven marketing techniques to market themselves, and access the Hidden Job Market, the Gig Economy, Remote Working, being a Digital Nomad and having a Portfolio Career.

ASE have built a community of over 300 freelancers and home workers who meet up regularly. This offers learners a unique opportunity to network with other enterprising individuals, meet mentors and promote themselves to employers.

Our Team

Sacha Anthony

Sacha Anthony

has a marketing and social media background and has created several successful businesses using Remote Working to both employ people and find work. Her sales and marketing experience is invaluable in helping learners to make the most of themselves and attract the kind of employers they need. An experienced public speaker and trainer, she works equally well one to one and delivering training to very large groups.

Melanie Gildenhuys

Melanie Gildenhuys

is an Associate Member of the Institute of Employability Professionals (AIEP), holds a Level 4 PTTLS training qualification and has a background in the Government funded Work Programme. She understands the challenges and barriers faced by the long-term unemployed and provides individual support to enter sustainable employment. In particular she is able to deliver training, feedback and mentoring to a high level, enhancing the learner experience.

John McLean

is a specialist in Employability, Careers Education and Apprenticeships. Through his extensive network of influence, John joins services together with collaborative service design and delivery. He has worked at a senior level of employer engagement, business development, solution design, stakeholder and partnership development and operations. His passion is working across these sectors to collaborate and integrate local service provision.
